At around 14.40 pm, the Tumanyan Police Department received a call from the resident of Shnogh Village, Koryun Shadinyan, who informed that in the park of «Dark Jala», in the same area, a man’s corpse was hanging from the plum tree. As photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan reports, the operative group of the Tumanyan Police Department headed by Deputy Chief of the Police Simonyan left for the scene. The police found out that the deceased was 57-year-old Arshak Tumanyan, a resident of the same village who committed suicide by hanging from a tree. Investigators of the Tumanyan Investigative Department of the Lori Regional Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Armenia also arrived at the scene. The police and investigators in the garden, on the table, also found a letter in which they wrote: «Please, my family. I suffer from an incurable illness, so it is impossible to work and live, bury me in the grave next to my father. » According to the preliminary conclusion of the forensic doctor, an external examination revealed a stroke in the neck of the corpse, no traces or injuries were found. According to the investigator’s decision, a number of examinations, including the forensic and manuscript corpse, were made to find out whether the author was the dead person. C.
